JiPS Oy’s Newsletter and Customer Register

4. Purpose of Processing Personal Data

Personal data is used for sending JiPS Oy’s electronic newsletter, customer and marketing communications, and other management of the customer relationship. Subscription to the newsletter can be canceled at any time via the link provided at the end of each newsletter.

5. Contents of the Register

The register may contain the following information about customers:

• Name

• Email address

• Mobile phone number

• Company and position

• Company address information

6. Regular Sources of Data

The register is compiled from JiPS Oy’s customer information system and publicly available address sources. The information is maintained through manual updates. Customers can also subscribe to the list themselves.

7. Regular Disclosure of Data

The data controller does not disclose customers’ personal data to third parties, except as required by Finnish authorities.

8. Deletion of Data

Data can be deleted at the customer’s request or when the customer relationship ends.

9. Principles of Data Protection

Personal data is kept confidential. The register is stored and maintained in a secure information system. Access to the register requires a username and password. Access is granted to personnel of the data controller whose position and duties require it.

10. Right to Prohibit

Customers have the right to prohibit the disclosure and processing of their data for direct marketing or other marketing purposes.
